tobey bilek Posted February 3, 2013 Share #21 Posted February 3, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Anyone buy the lipstick after seeing this ? I saw a lady passenger in an old Mustang convertible using a Leica as if were a zombie camera. Have no idea what they were selling.
Jerren Posted February 4, 2013 Share #22 Posted February 4, 2013 Leica popped up in a superbowl ad last night. I can't recall which one at the moment though. I'm guessing it was an M though.

hoppyman Posted February 6, 2013 Share #24 Posted February 6, 2013 No one can resist taking a swipe because she isn't a "serious" photographer??? How do you know she isn't ? She is following a brief as a model and doing a good job for the client to my eyes.. Lighten up team It's a little higher profile exposure in the world outside photography communities. Why not? Seems smart to me.
andybarton Posted February 6, 2013 Share #25 Posted February 6, 2013 They're selling make up. Not cameras.
IkarusJohn Posted February 9, 2013 Share #26 Posted February 9, 2013 They're selling make up. Not cameras. Product placement, Andy. Like the bond movies. Leica cameras have a recognition factor that is very appealing at the moment. It won't be the client, but the ad agency making the association.
