philipus Posted January 28, 2013 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have never seen a Hektor 13,5cm for this much money - why is this one at Photografica sold for this price? True, it seems to be in great condition but surely that wouldn't explain the premium, or? Cheers

luigi bertolotti Posted January 28, 2013 Share #3 Posted January 28, 2013 As JC says, there are collectors and collectors.... there are LOT of variants of the Hektor... imagine one has the goal to have all of them, and all in at least VG+ condition... most of variants are anyway common... but this is a wartime model, with a splendid engraving with s/n on the mount... IR marking, and in beautiful shape : frankly I'm not so surprised that one decides to spend 400 Euros for it. (Look at this one, less fine, same variant, similar age : https://www.leicashop.com/vintage/hektor-black-45135cm-p-225.html... dealers do know their business... )
