Advertisement Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Hi euston, Take a look here HMS Daring. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Northwest Wanderer Posted January 5, 2013 Share #2 Posted January 5, 2013 Enjoyable image. It has that old time quality to it in a nice way. Color would have made it be just another photograph.
MPerson Posted January 5, 2013 Share #3 Posted January 5, 2013 Thanks for showing that. I served on the previous Daring (D05) in the last year of her life - 1968. One of the most graceful of her time. This one is a bit of a greyhound in comparison with more destructive firepower and stealth. "Grey Warriors" only look good in B&W! pauledell Posted January 6, 2013 Share #4 Posted January 6, 2013 Euston, Definitely b&w. All warships look better that way. It looks like a gallant vessel. Too bad the gantry was in the way. Paul
