Hortense Posted March 22, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted March 22, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I cannot get a decent picture using the flash on my D-Lux 2. The auto settings are garish; the slow settings blur the subjects. What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to get good lighting using the flash on the D-Lux 2? Thanks. ECliffordSmith Posted March 23, 2007 Share #2  Posted March 23, 2007 Hi Hortense,  Welcome to the forum! What exposure mode are you using? Have you turned the flash output down (using the EV compensation).  If you use shutter priority at say 1/25 and adjust the EV you will find you can completely control the flash.  The aperture priority and manual modes are very good for flash use too.  I have some example images in the the following gallery from the D-Lux 2.  Leica D-Lux 2 Photo Gallery by ecliffordsmith at pbase.com  Good Luck! Hortense Posted March 23, 2007 Author Share #3 Â Posted March 23, 2007 Thank you, I will try your suggestions. I am an old M4 user, and have never worked much with flash. -H
