Hello.

I just got registered in the forums.

Well, I'm Leica new shooter (since 2-3 months ago or slightly more), after years of extensive SLR experience. Sold off my entire Canon setup - just got tired to the bulk and super-technological sophistication...

I own M6 Classic (1995-1996 years of manufacturing), along with Summicron 50mm/2 (current) and Elmarit-M 90mm/2.8 (current).

So far enjoy immensely Leica experience, just the fine mechanical performance.

Aimed with zone system understanding and evaluation experience, I found M6 built-in meter to be as reliable and nearly foolproof as the sophisticated metering of contemporary SLRs. The problem that may arise isn't the meter, but rather an improper photographer's interpretation...so with your eye nailed zone evaluation you're set for any exposure situation.

Well, actually just want to say Hi to all, thank you ahead for yoru forthcoming Welcoming...;)

Sincerely, Alex

Hello Alex and Reed.

I have been with Leica since the early 70's, look back at the wonderful shots that this marque has given me with it's simplicity and the NO nonsence operation.

What more can we ask for.

So Welcome aboard.

Ken.
