Keith (M) Posted December 14, 2012 Share #1 Posted December 14, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ridiculous though it may seem, if you (as I did) download the v4.3 update (790MB) for Vista via Chrome, it does not open/run. Tried the download three times, thinking it might have been corrupted. A quick search on Google showed people had the same problem downloading with Firefox. Solution? Download with IE. Would never have thought that the browser could make a difference when downloading a file!

hoppyman Posted December 14, 2012 Share #4 Posted December 14, 2012 Keith I don't know what issue has caused a problem with your download. I had no problems with obtaining the LR4.3 download via Chrome here (W7 64). I actually stopped using IE when I was unable to download PDF files from a reputable site. I do not know the root cause there though, it may well have been some configuration of my installs..
