mustafasoleiman Posted December 12, 2012 Share #5 Â Posted December 12, 2012 And what is the result? I am asking as I am considering a nex 5r to use with a Zeiss 21/2.8 and an apo-Telyt 135. Â Best
cirke Posted December 12, 2012 Author Share #6 Â Posted December 12, 2012 actually the apo-Telyt 135 is nearly always on the Nex 6 and it works very well, it is a second life for my

What adaptor do you use? Do you think I could use the nex 5r with the back screen? I will only use it with the 135/3.4 and wide angles like the cv12 and the cv15, so the nex6 might not be worth for me, unless I am missing something. I really just want a third body for those three lenses and nothing else... No other accessories etc... The nex 5r is smaller, lighter and cheaper, so it might just do the trick... Any advice? Â Thank you .

Thank you .  I like the metabones adaptor That combination should work fine The Nex-5 has a slightly more fiddly menu, the advantage of the Nex-6 is the user assignable dials. Both will take good pictures but personally I would enjoy using the Nex-6 more

yes of course I have already used the 135 with the back display and zoom x 4.8 or 9.6 or the focus peaking and it works very well event at f/3.4  I am using the Novoflex NEX/LEM
mustafasoleiman Posted December 13, 2012 Share #12 Â Posted December 13, 2012 Thanks all for the advice. One more question: now that the 5R is out, the 5N has become much cheaper. Is there any advantage to use the 5R with leica M lenses over the 5N. Â Am I correct is thinking that the sensor is the same and the only advantages of the 5R is the new AF system, which would be useless with the Leica lenses? Or is there something else like focus peaking or else?

From their analysis it seems like they the are almost identical except where they claim that the 5N has image stabilisation and the 5R doesn't... That would be a big advantage of the 5N if correct. dierk Posted January 22, 2013 Share #16 Â Posted January 22, 2013 I used the CV12mm on the Nex7, but you have to use Cornerfix in order to correct the severe color shift in the edges!! you may find my images here at flickr. peter_n Posted January 27, 2013 Share #17 Â Posted January 27, 2013 You get purple corners with the CV 15mm on the NEX-7, never mind the 12mm!
mustafasoleiman Posted January 28, 2013 Share #18 Â Posted January 28, 2013 I ended up buying the Sony Nex F3 with the 16 pancake and the 18-55 lenses. Â I don't have any use for the 16 and the 18-55 and will probably sell them. Â I have been using the CV12 and the Apo-Telyt 135, which become respectively a 18mm and 200mm and I am quite happy with the results... A small package, easy to focus and to frame, allowing me to use these two lenses that I love but are at the two extremes of my photography. Â Also bought an adaptor for Nikon lenses as I have an old 200/4 and 500/8 but the adaptor was faulty and I returned it. Â If anybody is interested I can post some images of what the 12 and the 135 look like.
