Process with DaVinci software...

Just have my computer setup and tried out this DaVinci software. It offers a lot more than LR4.

Askania Kino Anastigmat 75mm f1.8

I thought DaVinci was exclusively for Video?

I enjoy your processing with DaVinci, Jeffo! Awesome Stuff!

I thought DaVinci was exclusively for Video?

It handles all kind of professional formats, that are used in the film/video segment. Also TIFF and DPX sequences. So it also enables you to approach your grading of stills like a motion picture colorist would do.

the tools and probably the basic algorithms are probably the same, but the node based system makes the difference. I really enjoy it, but I'm not sure, wether it's a smart workflow qualitywise, because some say it's best to make most adjustments already in the RAW- converter, that the file can be demosaiced with this settings.

Best regards,

Not so easy Jeff, you did well, managing the angles handheld ;-)

I had my issues with the Zeiss designed viewfinder, until I found out, that the internal bubble level only is designed for ONE axis.

The modern Leica Universal Wide-Angle finder aka Frankenfinder is a much better finder for the Hologons (better eye point, more field of view and a perfect fit for the Leica M).

This is how it looks like with the later 16/8 Hologon:

The Mono is the perfect body match for the Hologon lenses - makes a perfect night shooting rig ;-)
