thighslapper Posted November 29, 2012 Share #21 Â Posted November 29, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) The A&A look sweet but I cant tell if the come with a Tripod screw mount on the bottom........does anyone know if they do ? Â Just bodge a hole in the case and get a longer screw for the tripod plate..... thats what I did. Too lazy to take the camera out of the case and it's much more secure anyway..... Humood Posted February 5, 2013 Share #29  Posted February 5, 2013 Of course Luigi is of the finest quality but, I too, found it be too bulky for my hands.Anybody tried this?  Kameraleder: LEICA M6 Body Case   I tried contacting them by email several times but unfortunately I had no reply
kivis Posted February 6, 2013 Author Share #30 Â Posted February 6, 2013 well here is what I ended up with. An A & A lambskin super thin black half case and a Black Bag super soft leather neck strap but really just good as a wrist strap. Â

smkoush Posted February 12, 2013 Share #32 Â Posted February 12, 2013 I have a Luigi half case for my MP. I find the leather slippery, to the point that it is difficult to shoot with the silver 50mm summilux ASPH (i.e., heavy lens). I recently started using the Leica hand grip. Â I do like the Luigi case, but the smoothness of the leather makes it very tiring after a while (having to apply more pressure to keep it from falling off my hands). Â Is the leather of an A&A half case similar?
andybarton Posted February 12, 2013 Share #33 Â Posted February 12, 2013 I don't have a Luigi, but I have seen and handled examples owned by others. Â The A&A case is thinner, much lighter and is very similar to the saddle leather used by Leica in their a la carte finishes. The fit is much better. It feels very nice in the hand and I use it whenever I don't have my winder fitted.
