Guest MarcRF Posted November 29, 2012 Share #4  Posted November 29, 2012 no problem  Monochrom® - Artisant&Artist LMB-M3/MP - Half Case  might take ages for it to arrive. mine took about 2 months. they're depending on their distributor from the USA  but I love it. worth the money
Lee Martin Posted November 29, 2012 Share #5 Â Posted November 29, 2012 This same company distribute the "dothebag "Mono bags which look fantastic but I've not been able to see one in the flesh in the UK. They need a distributor here , I'm sure they'd sell well .
kivis Posted November 29, 2012 Author Share #6 Â Posted November 29, 2012 At present there is no A&A distributor in the USA. So any A&A stuff is only left overs at Photo Village in NYC.

They need a distributor here , I'm sure they'd sell well .  I had one (the 9) and had some issues with it. mainly because I'm 204cm tall. the strap was too small and the bag too small. you need to treat the leather with some water repellant protection caus it's quite sensitive towards dirt and water. when you've worn it in it shouldnt be a problem  end of the story: sold it this week. Guest MarcRF Posted November 29, 2012 Share #10 Â Posted November 29, 2012 thats the other one. I prefer the one with the cut-out for the ASA dial. Â all of those look gorgeous but the smell when you unpack it... priceless
bill Posted November 29, 2012 Share #11 Â Posted November 29, 2012 Luigi for the half-case, no alternatives. Buy cheap, buy twice. Â PM "Imported Peter M" of this parish and have a chat with him about his rather splendid braided straps... Â Regards. Â Bill
Lee Martin Posted November 29, 2012 Share #12 Â Posted November 29, 2012 Thanks for the information re the mono bag, there's no better advice than that from somebody with genuine hands on experience, that's why this site is so good , thanks again
andybarton Posted November 29, 2012 Share #13 Â Posted November 29, 2012 I really don't like Luigi cases. Far too bulky for my taste. Â I too have an A&A half case. Mine came from Holland, IIRC. Beautiful leather, really fine stitching, lovely lining, fits beautifully.
kivis Posted November 29, 2012 Author Share #14  Posted November 29, 2012 Of course Luigi is of the finest quality but, I too, found it be too bulky for my hands. Anybody tried this?  Kameraleder: LEICA M6 Body Case

I want to get a similar case for my M when I get that next year but I am getting an all black M so I want a black 1/2 case to go with it as well but the only 1/2 case in Black that Luigi has is the crocodile skin and I am not too fond of that so maybe I will look at the A&A cases........what do you think

andybarton Posted November 29, 2012 Share #18 Â Posted November 29, 2012 I know. They're still too bulky and crude for my taste. Â The A&As just compliment an M perfectly.
