M i was just watching this yesterday.....really enjoyed his thoughts on perception. i also am gaining appreciation for his photographs, which look better and better every time i see them. he captures atmosphere and activity beautifully in his photography. alun Posted November 30, 2012 Share #3 Posted November 30, 2012 Thanks for the pointer - an excellent little video. JM talks(and writes) exceptionally well about photography. I saw him give a show - an illustrated lecture? an exhibition? an audience? - in London some years back and he was simply brilliant, completely engaging and compelling to listen to. I also recommend his little Phaidon 55 selection - not primarily for the pictures, because while a great selection they are very small, but for the few sentences he writes about each. Some wonderful insights into technique, vision, method and so on.
