MP3 Posted March 20, 2007 Share #1 Posted March 20, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been using my 75 Cron since last July. So far so good on every images it brings me. After a photo taking session today, I clean up my 75 Cron as usual, clean its barrel and blow air on front and rear lenses elements to remove dust. When I looked into the rear elements, I found the rear elements are quite recess into the lens barrel from the rear end. And when I turned the focusing ring from infinity to the near focus position, the barrel extended and the rear elements were moving in to an even recessed position, this exposing the silver aluminium inner barrel...... I was quite scared at this point as I wonder if dust or dirt get into this inner barrel area, I might have trouble with my lens. I just want to know is this normal for a 75 Cron ?? And you know, when I turned the focusing ring from infinity to the near end, there is some kind of resistance and barrel turning sound, low as it is, is it also normal ?? Thanks for your kind opinion in advance. Best Matthew
