audidudi Posted March 20, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted March 20, 2007 Any advice and support will be greatly appreciated. Â I find it helps to zoom-in fully to focus then zoom-out as necessary to compose (which presumes, of course, that there's no focus shift and you're using a zoom lens). I've also found using the "manual-focus assist" is helpful in low-contrast situations and with a bit of practice, can even be done handheld provided you don't mind using the LCD instead of the viewfinder. But does it works like a regular split focusing screen? My last view thru such a thing was with my old A1 in the last century. Would you recommend this invest of 150U$ ??  Cheers
