pauledell Posted November 16, 2012 Share #2 Â Posted November 16, 2012 Another great series. I like them all but especially No.1, No.2 No.4 and No.5. I really like the first the most. Â Paul
Avatar Posted November 16, 2012 Author Share #3 Â Posted November 16, 2012 Thanks Paul. Funny the first image was literally the first of the day..I just liked the set up and the construction worker didn't notice me. The shots of the group playing music was just to take their picture as I was really enjoying them..great guys too. Â The shot of the Chrysler Building and Grand Central was on the way home from the taxi, I just took shot as I liked the light..to be honest, I didn't even see the Chrysler building.. stuny Posted November 16, 2012 Share #7 Â Posted November 16, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Mark - Â All delightful, but I like the last one best. I had no idea the steps were heated. I'd guess the original purpose was to melt snow and ice.
Avatar Posted November 16, 2012 Author Share #8  Posted November 16, 2012 great photos! BTW, Avatar....would you have by chance been around the Bryant Park area on Wednesday....say 5-6pm? i saw a guy dilligently taking street photos with a Leica....was gonna pull my M8 out and take a snap....but i didn't want to irritate the wife!  long shot i'm sure...but you seem to wander quite a bit---so thought i'd ask anyways! lol  No that wasn't me but could have been...need to start shooting around there again. It's a great spot.  Stu, I was told the stair heaters were installed about 4 years ago to melt snow. It explains the steam coming off of them sometimes when it rains!  I was very pleased with the last and first image of the day...I took the shot of Grand Central from the taxi..
