alexc Posted March 18, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted March 18, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Recently I bought D-Lux 3 and really enjoying this camera. I am relatively new in Digital Photography. The only program I use is Photoshop CS2. I want to explore RAW workflow. Do I just open RAW file in photoshop CS2 and go ahead or I need to do something spesial wihich is relevant to the camera?

farnz Posted March 19, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted March 19, 2007 Alex, Â Welcome to the forum! Â If you open the RAW file in CS2 then ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) will open automatically and upload your raw file. ACR interprets your raw file so that it is visible on screen, allows you to make fundamental adjustments, and save it in a number of file formats that CS2 and other imaging software can read for further post-processing. Â If ACR doesn't open then you need to download the latest version free from the Adobe website. Since raw file formats are different for each camera Adobe adds them to ACR and updates the version. The latest version is 3.7, which supports D-Lux 3 raw files. Â HTH, Pete.
