pauledell Posted November 5, 2012 Share #4 Â Posted November 5, 2012 Iduna, Â A beautiful picture with the composition, lighting, sharpness, the background and the colors/tones for whichever version is selected. They are both exceptional and is hard to choose but I lean toward the color version. Â Paul
albert Posted November 5, 2012 Share #5 Â Posted November 5, 2012 Iduna, Â Looks like home. Minnesota is populated with a great number of German People. Great Shot.
Iduna Posted November 5, 2012 Author Share #6 Â Posted November 5, 2012 kokoshawnuff, Â thanks for taking time and writing a nice comment. Â sydkugelmass, Â thanks a lot for liking the colour version. Â Paul, Â thank you so much for the effort of writing a helpful comment. I agree with you that I might prefer the colour version too for one reason: the bronze colour with the touch of red is already monochrome and the B&W version probably has a deficiency in rendering the right toning. Iduna Posted November 5, 2012 Author Share #7 Â Posted November 5, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Al, Â I am happy you wrote this comment. Minnesota makes me remember the exciting concert project we had together with the Augustana College Choir (with Prof Jon Hurty) here in Germany with Benjamin Britten "War Requiem" earlier this year. stuny Posted November 6, 2012 Share #8 Â Posted November 6, 2012 The color one is beautiful, dramatic and simple. Some of the drama is lost in the B&W.
