Maybe you are reacting to me asking in another thread why the new M didn't knock your socks off.  Regardless, no water or power and not in the mood for insipid commentary such as this. As for the photo comments I have learned a lot here in the past year or so from criticisms. Not trying to be rude just trying to help   As for knocking socks off the camera seemed a hybrid of m9 and dslr and the middle ground doesn't work for me. Notice I never as for critique but I do appreciate the times that I need more eyeballs to help choose the best images.  Your unasked for critique was really shallow and didn't have any depth and came across as 'tit for tat' as you didn't like my criticisms of one of your images.  In your thread, you posted a photograph that quite honestly shocked me how bad it was..I was staring at the screen wondering what you could have seen in it. Seriously. I actually showed it to someone else as an example of people posting images that were completely godawful. I could not understand what you saw in it, especially as I have seen much better work from you. I have also been here longer than you might know and have seen you progress in your work.  My comment was challenging, yes. But I asked you important questions so that if you felt strongly you could answer them. I finally gave up last night and went uptown..the 9 flight walk up, no water, power or heat combined with my sister starting to feel insulted that I don't stay with her, motivated me to leave downtown. Â It's really bad for hundreds of thousands of people not just in lower Manhattan but in the Tri State area. Â Power will be out for many for a few more weeks...Some won't have power till the end of the month!
