Broke Posted October 7, 2012 Share #1 Posted October 7, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, A quick question for the cognoscenti... Any idea where to get the adapter pictured below? It looks a bit nicer than the Kiwi one I see on ebay. Hopefully the link to someone else's Flickr is allowed... Thanks for looking, and for the help, Jim DSC00652.JPG | Flickr - Photo Sharing! elgenper Posted October 8, 2012 Share #3 Posted October 8, 2012 Just possibly, it may be part of Leica´s own digiscoping adapter set for the X2 (roll down a bit on the page). It comes in two parts, one of them camera model specific, and the other for connecting to the ´scope. If it´s indeed so, it would explain the ´nicer look´ as well as the text `Germany´ visible in your linked picture... BTW, my dealer showed me last week that the Summarit 75/90 lens shade fit perfectly on the thread of the X1/X2... But of course, one then doesn´t get a filter thread up front. Broke Posted October 8, 2012 Author Share #4 Posted October 8, 2012 Looks to have a 52mm front ring... I'm still left wondering. Thanks for looking. Jim
spylaw4 Posted October 9, 2012 Share #5 Posted October 9, 2012 Takes a 55mm filter - so it's a bit bulkier than the Kiwi @ 49mm. but it does look nice - reminiscient of a tube I saw for the D-Lux 5 (which took a 52mm filter/hood).
