philipus Posted October 7, 2012 Share #1 Posted October 7, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am interested in this book which I understand has been translated to many languages and exists in several editions. But I find it difficult to understand how the editions differ in terms of the photos included - are the photos the same in all editions or did they change over time? In several descriptions I have read online it appears some editions have colour photos whereas others are with both BW and colour. Thanks in advance
Advertisement Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Hi philipus, Take a look here Q about Paul Wolff's Meine Erfahrungen mit der Leica. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lars_bergquist Posted October 7, 2012 Share #2 Posted October 7, 2012 My own German edition from 1939 contains four pictures only in colour. Anyone interested in early colour photography should try to find Wolff's later book Meine Erfahrungen … im Farbe. I don't know the year of the first edition, mine is a Swedish translation from 1945.
