MPerson Posted October 4, 2012 Share #1 Posted October 4, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have the 1937 edition of the Leica Manual and it really is a mine of information. I am slowly making and trying the developers in the recipe section. Does anyone know what year the first edition was printed and the year of the last edition? Was there a break for all of WWII? Advertisement Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Hi MPerson, Take a look here Leica Manual. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
iphoenix Posted October 5, 2012 Share #2 Posted October 5, 2012 According to my 1938 copy, the first printing of the first edition was in August 1935; second edition December 1936 and the first printing of the third edition (presumably yours) in September 1937. Mine is the second printing of the third edition. I'm sure someone else will have the other details you requested.

Jaybob Posted October 5, 2012 Share #4 Posted October 5, 2012 I have a second edition of the first printing, dated 1935, inscribed and signed by both Morgan and Lester, one that I'd be totally willing to sell if presented with a reasonable offer.
