wonson1 Posted October 4, 2012 Share #1 Posted October 4, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have been told that Leica has discontinued the C series and it is "replaced by the D Lux 6". My wife loves her C Lux 3 and I sometimes use it myself when I need something quite small - it is a pity to see it has been discontinued. As for the D Lux 6 being its replacement - that's ridiculous. earleygallery Posted October 4, 2012 Share #2 Posted October 4, 2012 Panasonic still offer the latest equivalent to a C lux, with a 'Leica' lens. Apart from the badge the Panasonics are identical to the Leica equivalent, so if you need to update, go ahead! This looks like the latest variant of the Panasonic line; LUMIX Digital Cameras - Superzoom Cameras - DMC-SZ7 -Overview -Panasonic UK & Ireland I won't expect you to send me a % of the money saved, my advice is free

earleygallery Posted October 7, 2012 Share #4 Posted October 7, 2012 Buy a Leica red dot. Stick it on the front & then you have the Leica version!
