Every generation feeds the pigeons like this at this spot, and I can see myself on those same steps, with the feeding plate, in the pictures taken by my father (and his Leica ). The only difference is, no one covered up can be seen in those pictures (because that was a rare sight in those days). Thank you for bringing back some great memories.
