It is simply a setting obeyed by some other apps, like Photoshop, when they translate internally from pixels to real dimension, like cm or inches. It doesn't change the image. For printing on an inkjet printer, you might set it to 240 or 360 dpi. Check your printer's manual. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
