MEB Posted September 29, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 29, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) After 34 years of living in this neighborhood, the city finally decided to renovate our street surface. These enormous machines roared from the propane flames that melted the surface, then ground up the surface then laid fresh asphalt all in one pass. The trucks moved at about 2 meters per minute. It was a very impressive scene. M9 with 50 Lux. LR4. Thanks for looking, Mark Blumer

pauledell Posted September 29, 2012 Share #2 Posted September 29, 2012 Mark, Very nice pictures. I wish we could get our streets renovated like that. We are luck if the city comes by once a year with blacktop in a bucket and fills in the biggest holes. Paul

mija1789 Posted September 30, 2012 Share #4 Posted September 30, 2012 First time I see a truck carrying a street lamp (rightmost truck) Our streets also get renovated ... whenever it's election time for the city council. Nice shots that clearly show the process.
