dritz Posted September 29, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 29, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Alas. First 209 images are fine. The subsequent 300 cannot be opened by anything. The singular visible but corrupted file is the great divide between those that are readable files and those which are corrupted. Suggestions for recovery? SanDisk 32GB Extreme (60MB/s) Thanks. zlatkob Posted October 1, 2012 Share #3 Posted October 1, 2012 Try Sandisk RescuePro - SanDisk RescuePRO® and RescuePRO® Deluxe | LC Technology International, Inc. It comes free with Sandisk Extreme cards, so you may have it already. Also, be sure to try another card reader with the same card. Good luck!
S. Wong Posted October 4, 2012 Share #4 Posted October 4, 2012 I haven't had to deal with corrupted files, but I've used different programs to recover deleted files. I think the easiest one was Free Undelete: FreeUndelete - OfficeRecovery.com I'm sorry to hear that its been corrupted. Please let us know what solutions you find. dritz Posted October 15, 2012 Author Share #5 Posted October 15, 2012 The resolution was a surprise. I used the Apple DiskUtility to make a disk image of what was on the CF card (no compression or encryption). I then mounted the image. Lightroom now saw all of the files and imported them. A happy ending!
