Griffith Observatory, Los Angeles. The first pass of the shuttle Endeavour, accompanied by two T-38 NASA chase planes, was done at a high altitude and was a bit disappointing, although you'd never know it form all the cheering from the spectators. That's the Hollywood sign at lower right. V-Lux 2 @ 29mm

I can see where you were a bit disappointed that the shuttle craft is not visible but a good shot anyhow.
