Advertisement Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Hi Your Old Dog, Take a look here Striped jersey. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
likalar Posted September 22, 2012 Share #2 Posted September 22, 2012 cc welcome? Well, since you asked...The high-noon sunlight is nearly always a harsh environment for shots with people, and this one illustrates that. Also, San Francisco is very congested. Your shot really captures that fact. For me, what's also causing "the fight", besides the striped shirt, are the boys and that guy with the shirt off. He should be heavily fined! I hope you enjoyed your visit here. Larry
Your Old Dog Posted September 22, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted September 22, 2012 ................................... I hope you enjoyed your visit here. Larry Are you kidding! If I could get a direct flight out of Buffalo or Rochester I'd go every month! Hell, I could rent a car, sleep on your door step, catch breakfast at McDonalds! and I'd be in 7th heaven as it's a target rich environment! Beautiful city and I used to work in the Avenues with my father in construction when I was in high school. Highlight of my Frisco experience was waiting for dad in his truck on Stanyon Street watching the fog roll in and listening to Glenn Yarbourghs "Stanyon St." You had to be there to appreciate it! Because of that I have a love of fog that most wouldn't understand. I find/found it purifying in a strange way.
pauledell Posted September 23, 2012 Share #4 Posted September 23, 2012 Ray, A great shot with the man, the striped blouse and the dog facing off with the people coming towards them. Also the predominant foreground with seems to parallel the stripes. Excellent composition, tones and sharpness. Paul
stuny Posted September 23, 2012 Share #5 Posted September 23, 2012 I think the shirtless guy makes the striped shirt woman more effective. Very nice shot. BTW: Whenever you return to San Francisco please refrain from saying "Frisco." San Franciscans do not like that.
