rob_x2004 Posted March 15, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted March 15, 2007 Arthur I was carrying an MP 35Lux consumer Fuji100 along Leichardt Pass which hangs off the side of Routeburn Trail in KZ. I reckon I messed up point of focus a bit, would probably have been better with crisp mountains and slightly out of focus walker, one of an American pair been along this stretch every other year for thirty years. Spot the wardens dont tell you about, and it isnt in the guide books. No marked trails and all that once you get over the crest in this shot. Trust me, if you ever get ot this spot you are going to find a double dose of religion. Over the crest and before the far mountain of this shot, there is a 20 mile long lake, like at nearly sea level! My landscapes are garbage. Youve never seen anywhere like this, anywhere. .....

elansprint72 Posted March 15, 2007 Share #5 Posted March 15, 2007 Rob, Your lansdcapes are NOT crap! I think you got the focus the right way round in #1, only jarring element is that plastic tube. One day I'll get there.

stuny Posted March 15, 2007 Share #8 Posted March 15, 2007 Rob - Your typically excellent eye for composition, and execution for the full tonal range and crisp contrast. Agree with Pete 100%, including the water tube.
