LucisPictor Posted October 3, 2012 Share #41 Â Posted October 3, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Great idea, this thread! Â I used to have only 4 R-Lenses, but have shot with many more, because two friends of mine have several ones. Â My favourites? Â The Summilux 50 is great (but I even prefer the Summicron 50). The Macro-Elmarit-R 2.8/60 is amazing, as is the APO-Macro-Elmarit-R 2.8/100. Â The APO-Telyt-R 3.4/180 is probably the best 180-R (and still not too heavy to lug around). I own the Elmar 180 which is absolutey good enough for me and really compact. Â The APO-Telyt-R 4/280 just blew me away with its IQ (adapted to a 5D MkII). Â The Vario-Elmarit-R 2.8-4.5/28-90mm Asph. is probably the best R-zoom, but pretty big and heavy. Â And the 2.8/70-180 is perhaps the best tele-zoom lens ever! Â I have seen images shot with the Elmarit 2.8/15... Wow! Â And they say the 3.5-4.0/21-35 is a very good lens, but I have never used it. Â So a set that reads like: Â 2.8/15 3.5-4.0/21-35 2.8-4.5/28-90 1.4/50 2.8/60 Macro 2.8/70-180 2.8/100 Macro 3.4/180 4.0/280 Â ... would be a dream come true!!
