Manchester meet?

Just wondering whether anyone round these parts fancies a stroll one evening after work, before the autumn sets in too badly.

End of August maybe?

Castlefield by the canal or somewhere similar? (Well, there is nowhere similar, but you know what I mean...)

See if we can't find a pint afterwards?

Andy, I'd love to but I'm still stuck in Wembley during the week :-(

I might be interested if it was a Sat or Sun morning or afternoon. Favorite would be Sunday morning - easier parking - but I could get to the other times.

Where's Pete Taylor?

I'm in Wilmslow at present, demolishing part of my house, under strict orders from 'erself. so any excuse to get out suits me fine!

I'll be in France until 10th August but would love to get together either one evening or (preferably) on a Sunday morning... what about the 13th?

Where is John Reynolds?

Pete.

I am sure John will find this.

There's also "CrazyDave the Lighthouse Thief ;)" who lives on the Wirral, Robert Smithies up there in the Lake District somewhere, a couple of guys from N. Wales.

There are a few of us around here.

I could make the 13th of August

Want to pencil it in? Meet outside the entrace to the Science museum perhaps? Probably have to chain Bob Smithies to a lamp post to stop him heading in the direction of Granada studios.

Andy,

sorry for not picking this up sooner, I've been building a stone wall around a soon-to-be flower bed for most of the day. I could have had it finished, and looking a good deal better, in Photoshop in a fraction of the time.

I'd love to meet up with some of the guys from the forum, in Manchester for a photographic wander around and possibly a pint. Most any Sunday morning in August would be manageable, as would most evenings. Let's see what gets the best turn-out.

I could probably manage the 13th provided you don't intend to start too early - It takes time to get from Cardigan Bay to Manchester - a minimum of 2.5 hours even with the A55 open.

So how does noon on the 13th sound? Meet outside the entrance to the science museum on Liverpool street, lunch at Dimitri's Greek/Tapas restaurant around the corner, then a couple of hours shooting.

Sorry for getting bossy, but I'm practicisng for the one challenge in Paris ;-)
