David Waugh Posted September 16, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 16, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sorry that my first post is a 'please help' ;-) but I was wondering if anyone has a PDF of the V35 manual in English please? If not, any idea how to remove the lens? I assume it's just a screw mount that comes of anti-clockwise but the Focotar seems mighty stuck ;-) Many thanks. Hi David, just ask the Leica Customerservice, they used to have still the original manual for the Leica V35 in English. They normaly send it for free. David Waugh Posted September 16, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted September 16, 2012 Thanks Moritz - I'll do that. In the meantime, does anyone know if indeed the lens is removable? I really want to give it a clean but I can't seem to unscrew it. Thanks.
Irishimage Posted September 17, 2012 Share #4 Posted September 17, 2012 Hi David. It's a normal m39 Right Hand thread Lens. To open Turn it anti-clockwise from the point of view of looking up at it. It's a very fine pitched thread, could be gummed up a bit with old grease and dirt. Best of luck. Noel

David Waugh Posted September 19, 2012 Author Share #7 Posted September 19, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks everyone. It was indeed just a bit gummed up - needed a bit more force than I felt comfortable with ;-) No fungus, but a bit of haze, so will send it away for a clean. I've sourced an English manual - thanks for the offers. Appreciated all the help here.
