This devise is wooden using wood and glass plates. I have a newer version in service and in the course of off hand conversation acquired this old beauty several years ago. The model I am referring to in my original post is much like my Deardorff camera but without the adjustments and with a thirty inch bellows on a heavy dual tube stand plus a a complicated lightging feature.
