I've always thought the X1/X2 were wildly overpriced "toys" in the photo market, playthings for people with more money than brains. But, finally, with the new announcement of the

RX1 by Sony, a new king has been crowned. A fixed lens, 35mm f2.0 lens - but a full frame sensor for "only" $3000 ought to go over in the market like a pregneant high jumper.

until you have used a x1/2 dont make the assumption that they are "wildly overpriced "toys" ".

a digital camerea with a full framed sensor with a zeiss or leica lens is very desirable to me especially in the 35mm effective range--

if my purser (ie wife) would allocate the funds I would very much like to acquire one I am sure i am not the only one
