Northern NJ Meet up

Thanks Andy. My only hesitation is that I'm not an advanced shooter. Don't think I have the skill to lead an outing. Was hoping to tag along with a few more experienced guys/gals to try to learn from their experiences / knowledge. I'd certainly be open to a gathering or a shoot around if others from Northern NJ were interested.

You don't need to "lead" the group, just decide which bar you're going to meet in and when.

There rest follows ;)

All the forum meets I've been on have been very social occasions and never have they been a "workshop".

Hello JT07,

I don't know of any groups that regularily meet but I have noticed a # of people who write on this Forum mention New Jersey locations in their avatars. Why don't we set up a time & place to meet & see who shows up? Are there any places in NJ that are not convenient for you? Do you have difficulty in travelling?

Best Regards,

Michael

Hello Everybody,

Having an M (Can that be said w/o qualification anymore?), CL, Flex, R, Barnack, S or 110 is not necessary in order for some 1 to read or write on this Forum. It certainly is not a pre-requisite for coming to a gathering. Just come & enjoy the company.

Any 1 have an idea of a good place to meet? Where I am (131/10) there are a number of nice, various, diverse restaurants. It's sort of a mix of the World.

My only limitation personally is that I need a place within walking distance of public transportation. Otherwise anywhere is fine for me.

Best Regards,

Michael

Michael,

If you select the tab "Community" above just below the main tabs and then select "Members List". Go there and you get to a table with members. In the upper right hand corner of the table, you'll find a tab "Search Members", click that and you will have another choice "Advanced search", click that and now you only need to fill out the field "state" and you will get a list of all members in that state.

Edit: You can subsequently click at the top of a column "posts" to see the most active participants

Kind regards,

Lars
