Tonki-M Posted September 19, 2012 Share #21 Â Posted September 19, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) 15mm Vogt 4.5 - sell 18mm Zeiss 4 - sell 28mm Leica ASPH 2.8 - sell 35mm Leica ASPH 2.0 50mm Leica Summilux 1.4 50mm Leica Noctilux 1.0 50mm Leica Summicron 2.0 (older version) - sell 75mm Leica Summicron 2.0 Â those are the ones i'd sell based on my shooting style. Noct. is very nice for that special look, otherwise, 50 lux can do most of the rest.
Advertisement Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Hi Tonki-M, Take a look here Which lenses to keep with M9P?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Jaybob Posted September 19, 2012 Share #22 Â Posted September 19, 2012 My current lens line up is as follows... Â 15mm Vogt 4.5 18mm Zeiss 4 28mm Leica ASPH 2.8 35mm Leica ASPH 2.0 50mm Leica Summilux 1.4 50mm Leica Noctilux 1.0 50mm Leica Summicron 2.0 (older version) 75mm Leica Summicron 2.0 Â ... Â My initial thoughts were to keep the 35 Cron - 50 Lux - 75 Cron and sell the rest but am I staying too close together in focal ranges? Â Â Your initial gut feeling is probably the best one to go with. If I was In your position, I'd keep the 28-2.8, 50-lux, and 75-cron. I'm still pondering on the 18, but that focal length is pretty wide on a full frame camera. The Noctilux and 35 cron alone should put a HUGE dent in the bill. IWC Doppel Posted September 19, 2012 Share #23 Â Posted September 19, 2012 Interested to see how you get on with the wider M9.
SteveYork Posted September 19, 2012 Share #24 Â Posted September 19, 2012 Keep one 35 and one 50; sell the rest.
FTI Posted September 26, 2012 Share #25 Â Posted September 26, 2012 Wow.... so jealous. What a luxury problem :-) Â If I were in the same boat; I'd probably probably sell all except for the 15mm and 50mm summilux. Buy a 35mm summilux ooo and maybe a 90mm (summarit?). tobey bilek Posted September 28, 2012 Share #26 Â Posted September 28, 2012 Sell the 50 Summicron as you will have a new 50. Â Next sell anything that does not work well on the M9. Code the 15 as 21 2.8 in selectable menue. It will work pretty good 18 Zeiss, no idea. Â All the others will work on the M9. Â Then sell off what you do not use and only use can decide. Perhaps the 35 and 28 are similar?
JT07 Posted November 12, 2012 Author Share #27  Posted November 12, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) It might be worth seeing (if you code them) how many shits you have done with each and also which ones are your best. I could say what I would keep but not much help I suspect  You really had me thinking hard on this one IWC.... I kept saying to myself, "What am I missing?" but it sounded like as good an idea as any........

tobey bilek Posted November 12, 2012 Share #29 Â Posted November 12, 2012 For me, keep all but the 15 and Noct. Â If I were to buy a 21, the 18 would go, however 18,24, 35 is nice set.
thighslapper Posted November 12, 2012 Share #30 Â Posted November 12, 2012 Be financially brutal about it...... Â Sell the absolute minimum you can get away with to achieve the degree of solvency you can just live with. Â Keep the rest. Whatever you sell you will regret it.
