rboaden Posted March 13, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted March 13, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have just acquired a replica "O", with the intention of using it to have some fun, not keeping it in a box; but it came with Japanese instructions ... Does anyone out there have a manual that they would be prepared to photocopy for me ????

Hans Roggen Posted March 13, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted March 13, 2007 I'd love to see some pictures of that. Â BTW, maybe this should be in the collectors forum... Â Hans
jaapv Posted March 13, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted March 13, 2007 As long as you don't forget to place the lens cap when cocking the shutter. It is a fixed-slit focal plane shutter with variable width slit, which means it will not close the curtains when cocking. There can be excellent results to be had with this camera, the lens is very good.
POKO Posted March 13, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted March 13, 2007 Hi, Â Also, you have to set the shutter speed before you advance the film/cock the shutter. The slit width in the shutter (on the dial) is your "shutter speed". This distance has to be set before the shutter is cocked. Â Good luck, I considered getting one when they came out as a personal camera, but found it too fussy - I would be making too many mistakes with it.
