Guest Jim 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Share #1 Posted August 27, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I would like to protect the bottom of my D2 but don't want to spend moon money for a leather case. I just don't want the bottom to get scratched when I set it on something steel or concrete for temporary support in certain situations. Does anyone know of an inexpensive alternative to purchasing a $350. USD case - something that could be left on the camera bottom as long as desired but also pulled off when needed? I think that Gaffer is excellent produced. It is durable and does not leave a trace when it is removed. Guest Jim 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Share #4 Posted August 28, 2012 Thank you both for your suggestions. I bought some blue painter's tape today, so will give that a try for now. - Jim
