davephoto Posted July 20, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 20, 2006 nice shot and pretty colors. where is this found?
stuny Posted July 20, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 20, 2006 Al - After all this time showing us you are the master of D1 close-up it is interesting to see you do likewise with the D2 (which, unadorned cannot get nearly as close as the D1). As usual, your bright colors and sharp focus against a dark background are most effective.
albert Posted July 20, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted July 20, 2006 Thanks much Stuart, & Dave. Here is some plant info: Belamcanda chinensis or Blackberry Lily derives its name from the clusters of shiny black seeds exposed when seed capsules split open. Even though it is called a lily it is actually in the Iris family. Fan-shaped leaves will reach 2 to 3 feet. They are hardy from zones 5 -10 in the U.S. Blackberry Lilies are native to China and Japan.
calshot Posted July 20, 2006 Share #5 Posted July 20, 2006 A very nice picture. Can you advise does the LC1/D2 with an Elpro have same, less or better close range than the D. Just interested thats all. Rob
albert Posted July 20, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted July 20, 2006 Rob, Thanks for the look. I don't know the answer to your question. I take pictures with a Leica D1, and with a Leica D2. I don't own any attachments except for a beautiful green leather case for the D2.
