:) One of my M9's recently needed to go back to Solms for a very minor problem, but I did not want to send it as it is after all 'My Baby' Also it was still working fine, and I soon have a holiday comming up and want to take it with me.

 

On a Sunday night two weeks ago I emailed the super people at Leica to ask about it, and to find out the likeley turn round time, and come 7.40am Monday morning got a return email not only saying 'Don't worry our turn round is more or less a week' and whats more they had also sent me a pre paid postage sticker to send it back with.

 

That all said, sending it away was still like a bereavement, but they were indeed as good as their word. I have had it back, cleaned, serviced, new firmware installed, looking like new, and all without charge. What else can I say but a massive thank, and the knockers please note. No wonder I have been using Leica's for over 50 years:)
