Larko Posted March 12, 2007 Share #1 Posted March 12, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Could anyone advise whether the IR issue is to be solved with future firmware updates as i have just layed out a small fortune for B&W 486 filters for my lenses and have picked up on the idea that these filters may no longer be needed with 1.10. firstly am i right in this assumtion? also i carry an M6 with me also as a back up, if i needed to change over in a hurry what would be the effect of using the 486 filters on a film camera? and finally although maybe a little premature what would be the effect of using the 486 filter if the 1.10 firmware solves the IR problem? any advise greatly appreciated as i would rather avoid having to lay out more money on a different set of filters. thanks Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just improved a bit to the level that the best C1 profiles reach. 486 filters will have no effect on film, other than the general effects of filters, that is.
