I tried looking all over the net but can't seem to find an answer so turning to you guys for help. I was wondering with the 90/4 macro, can you still take pictures while it is in the collapsed position? and if you can, what is the difference while collapsed or extended in terms of picture quality or picture specs? Mine liked to hang...  I have the 90cron, but this stays at the office almost always. The real advantage of the 90 macro is weight: I will almost always put this in my wife's purse.
