In the 1960's just prior to departing for war in Asia there was one parked at the General's Headquarters parking lot. A quick look at a auto with real styling and we were gone. The Mercedes-Benz-Museum Stuttgart is frequented by many visitors and the cars are often presented with only little space between them. So I often had to reduce photographing on interesting details. War is cruel and I'm glad to hear that you survived war in Asia (Korea?). Fortunately I grew up in times of peace. But two of my uncles died in World War II. One of my distant relatives in the States (1916 - 2007) served with the U. S. Navy on the USS Saratoga during WW II and later in Korea.
