Die Leute mit richtig Ahnung, z.B. aus 'name this car' im internationalen Teil des Leica-Forums, könnten jetzt anhand der Hupengitter sicherlich genauestens Typ und Baujahr bestimmen (ich tippe eher auf einen 7 CV, ist nur geraten), aber ich kenne mich nicht genug aus mit französischen Fabrikaten.

Der Renault 4 CV wurde seinerzeit „Sahneschnittchen“ genannt; der oben vor‘m Café Le Buci (ach ja...) zu sehende „Gangster-Citroën“ ist wahrscheinlich ein 11CV (1,9 Liter) aus der Vorkriegszeit, wenn es kein nachträglicher Umbau in ein Cabriolet ist.

Blech-Virtuosen konnten das Mittelteil der 4CV-Motorhauben herausschneiden und sauber in VW-Motorhauben einschweißen, die Wölbungen waren ähnlich. Das sah, gespachtelt und lackiert, klasse aus und befreite VWs mit leistungsgesteigerten Motoren (Oettinger, Decker usw.) von Atemnot und Kühlproblemen. Ganz billig war es nicht.
