I'll take some photos in Shanghai and came back in 6 days... Again some security check (X-ray machine) Â Will be ok the film or I'll have problems? Fgcm Posted July 24, 2012 Share #2  Posted July 24, 2012 HI Willy, provided "not too old" X-Ray scanners are used, you have no problem with hand luggage. In Russia and Cina you should have no problem.  Do not put films in checked luggage as scanners for checked luggage are very strong.  Once I passed some 12 scans with no problem at all, including some T-Max 3200, travelling in USA, but also in the Carribean area.
