Willy Fog Posted July 17, 2012 Share #1 Posted July 17, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, Just bought today a M6TTL, I've found that the camera still have the protector in the bottom, but don't have the CE sticker. In the box of the camera I can find the CE sticker near the reference code and everything.... Is that normal? I think everything is in the box, the warranty don't have name, date or any stamp. The manual is 100% in german. In the box of the carrying strap, I just can find one small metal part, I think should be two. I'm not worried about this, cause I don't use the carrying strap in any of my cameras Regards

Sorry to make so many questions, but you know, I've been looking in the forum and didn't found the info, that's why I asked. Regards
andybarton Posted July 17, 2012 Share #4 Posted July 17, 2012 No problem. I was being flippant. The CE sticker is something of nothing. Unless the camera is a collectors' item, never, ever out of the box and definitely never used, it matters not one jot whether the sticker is on the bottom. Enjoy your new camera. You will have a great time over the next few months, I know.
jaapv Posted July 17, 2012 Share #5 Posted July 17, 2012 When was your camera built? CE marks were affixed from 1994 onwards. However One can peel it off and replace the protective foil which is available from time to time from third parties.

Willy Fog Posted July 18, 2012 Author Share #7 Posted July 18, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) When was your camera built? CE marks were affixed from 1994 onwards. However One can peel it off and replace the protective foil which is available from time to time from third parties. The camera is from 2001. Is so strange that they peel it off and the put again the protective sticker. But maybe. Now I have in home two M6TTL, one is from my brother-in-law, his M6TTL have the CE and the bottom protector. Mine only have the bottom protector and looks more nice
