Arne Helme Posted March 11, 2007 Author Share #7 Posted March 11, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Impressive, here is an alternative Though the first photo is how I remember the scene I must admit that your corrected version is the better one. I'll give it a new try in C1. (Bedankt, en groeten uit Noorwegen!) -- Arne

Arne Helme Posted March 11, 2007 Author Share #10 Posted March 11, 2007 <(Bedankt, en groeten uit Noorwegen!)>Mooi accentloos Nederlands zeg! Ik heb 13 jaar in Nederland gewoond ! Back to topic. Which tool did you use to apply the changes? I have a hard time adjusting the dark areas without loosing important detail in the clouds/sky. I guess I could devise a contrast mask in PhotoShop / Picture Windows (that I use) to adjust only the lower part of the picture. -- Arne

I use Photoshop Elements 3.0, which has the tool ligthen up shadows and/or darken highlights and/or change contrast of midtones (Enhance > Adjust lighting > Shadows/Highlights). I just lightened up the shadows by about 60% and put, under color variations, a little more green in the shadows
