ozmo Posted March 9, 2007 Share #1 Posted March 9, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) This was taken from Bate Island in the Ottawa River looking towards the Parliament Buildings with the National Gallery to the left. There was heavy snow off and on. I confess that I monkeyed with the original to remove a few stray flakes, but this is very much how it looked at the time. The sun was behind me. The seagulls were all pointing the same way. The ice they were standing on was in the process of melting and had that dirty greenish look. The sky was ominous.
