kamilsukun Posted March 11, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted March 11, 2007 I'm finding the L1 very different to the D2! Â Â Brian, Â What is the difference you feel as a D2 photographer. Â Your comments are important as you are an experienced D2 user. Â Would you please post your findings. D2 owners will greatly appreciate it. Â BTW the photos are perfect. Â Thanks for sharing. wda Posted March 11, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted March 11, 2007 Brian, I know this is an architecture thread but I must say I like the inclusion of the elder statesman in #2 although the couple on the edge rather distract the eye. Why not clone them out? Â The first figure adds real counterpoint to the modern style of architecture. Â David
visiondr Posted March 11, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted March 11, 2007 I have to echo the previous statment about the presence of the pedestrians in the photo. I think the two in the left foreground are distracting. I'd love to see the crooked elderly gentleman alone with the crooked new building. Â Please pardon my crude attempt to adjust your photo to illustrate my thoughts here.
farnz Posted March 12, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted March 12, 2007 Brian, Â Excellent use of lines and shapes to convey 'static movement'. I'm inclined to agree with gently ushering the couple out of frame but I agree with David that they would be better cloned out to retain the white wall and its conflicting angle. Â Pete.
