Al,

Panasonic is changing/upgrading models that will be introduced at PMA. (Take a look at dpreview for the model changes.) Leica models based on the Panasonics will also likely change. Last year it took about a month for the new models to be available -- that's when I got my FZ7.

thanx, you three, for responding to my plight......I ordered a panasonic 7.2 mega pixel DMC something or other with a Leica lens.....I'm going to give it to my dear wife as soon as I can find something more wonderful for myself....because I deserve it.......this will allow me to play with the new Televid APO 77 if I can pay someone ten prices for an adapter......Al

Al -

It's the DMC-FX-07, which is a replacement for the FX-01. The only difference I can figure (my FX-01 was flooded when diving in PNG, and a few days ago my replacement FX-07 arrived) is 6.0 megapixels vs. 7.2 megapixels. And the C-Lux-2 just announced at PMA is the Leica version of the FX-07. Don't be surprised if you like your wife's new gift. Mine comes to work with me every day in my briefcase. Walking in this morning I took another five or ten photos. My post in Architecture (Lobby for Brian) is with that camera, shot yesterday afternoon.

Go buy a Leica APO 77 Televid. $ 1,800 + / -

Check out 46 websites looking for a D-Lux 3.

Check out 58 websites looking for a Leica digital adapter 2.

Buy both.

Learn, later, that the site really doesn't have them.

Whine Whine ? Yes, and it feels real good.
