Â The VC 35/1.4 I used to have also had a bayonet mount for the hood. Same as the ZM's. So you could exchange those. However the 28cron's hoods bayoned it different and it won't work. I really didn't want to risk damaging or losing the original hoods so I bought a lens hood from eBay and they fit quite nicely and as "throw away" inexpensive. They're a tiny bit smaller (62mm vs 54mm) in front diameter than the 12586 hood that came with my Summilux 50 v2. I was able to find a NOS 12588 but unfortunately it does not fit my "earlier" version of the AA (hood diameter is slightly too small). So it seems Leica made a change to the hood mounting ring (Leica calls it the accessories carrier) in the later production runs of the AA that came with the 12588 hood.  I'd be very interested to find out if the 12466 fits the "earlier" AA.
